Meet the PMA Consulting Team!

PMA Nonprofit Leadership's recent team retreat (thanks Cain Center for the Arts for hosting!) brought together a new and expanded organizational consulting team. This group represents one of three areas of focus for the firm as it seeks to support nonprofit leaders at all levels of their career journey:

  • Content Creation & Resource Development
  • Individual Coaching & Training for Staff and Board Members
  • Organizational Counsel & Capacity Building

Get to know each of them below, and let us know if we can help with your strategic planning, capacity-building or fundraising project needs.

As one of PMA's Senior Consultants, Adam Cline brings the direct experience of a current fundraising executive to the firm's consulting and leadership development of nonprofit executives, fundraisers and board members. He serves as Chief Advancement Officer at Crisis Assistance Ministry, and understands all phases of a successful philanthropic program and is able to apply that experience to each of PMA's clients with which he is working.

Adam's extensive background encompasses a range of roles. Before assuming his current role at Crisis Assistance Ministry, Adam served as the Executive Director of Carolina Cross Connection, where he fostered a strong board of directors and led recruitment and training efforts for hundreds of seasonal employees and thousands of volunteers. Notably, his strategic leadership was instrumental in establishing the agency's first major gifts program, resulting in a remarkable 110% growth in the number of major donors.

Patrick Lynch is a dynamic leader currently serving as the Director of Development and Public Relations for I Know I Can, a renowned college access non-profit in Columbus, OH. With an unwavering commitment to empowering students, Patrick oversees and spearheads all fundraising and communication efforts for the organization. With over 15 years of experience in education-based fundraising, Patrick's expertise lies in driving philanthropic success in the educational sector. During his tenure in Charlotte, he actively contributed to the advancement of the fundraising profession, serving on the board of AFP Charlotte and mentoring aspiring fundraisers through the mentorship program. Additionally, Patrick played a pivotal role in the planning committee for the North Carolina Philanthropy Conference, further showcasing his dedication to professional development.

As one of PMA's Senior Consultants, Donte' Shannon brings a wealth of experience especially in the association space to the firm's consulting, presentation and facilitation services. She's worked in leadership development, front-line fundraising, donor stewardship and data management. This background, alongside her academic training in History and International Relations, gives her a deep understanding of how all the pieces of fundraising fit together. Having worked with community-based groups as well as national non-profits, Robin focuses on data management, annual fundraising, and donor stewardship.

She has led the successful implementation of annual fundraising plans and developed and executed robust stewardship programs.
