IPL Hosts Workshop Featuring Experts in Philanthropy

PMA Nonprofit Leadership was delighted to partner with the Institute for Philanthropic Leadership to host two 75 minute sessions at Foundation For The Carolinas last week. With great presentations by Ali Kelley, Shannon Green, and IPL's own Jim Kelley, the alumni of Leadership Gift School had a great opportunity to talk about the latest research in philanthropic funding sources and the importance of using data to elevate major and legacy giving.
About the Institute for Philanthropic Leadership
In January 2008, eight philanthropy leaders in Charlotte got together to develop a program to help educate nonprofit leaders about how to cultivate and secure major gifts. Their work resulted in the Institute and its inaugural program, Leadership Gift School, in 2010. In 2015, the Institute added the Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy program.
