October 16, 2024

1729114195736What a wonderful celebration of community impact at the annual Michael Marsicano Award for Philanthropic Leadership luncheon!

The Institute for Philanthropic Leadership gathered to honor and celebrate six outstanding leaders who have transformed their organizations and the communities they serve through visionary leadership and relentless dedication.

1729114197191It was inspiring to hear the stories of Justin Dionne from the Cain Center for the Arts, Bentzion Groner from ZABS Place and Friendship Circle of Charlotte, Dr. Monique Perry-Graves from Teach For America North Carolina, Stephanie Stenglein, CFRE from Arts+, and Sue Worrel from the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte.

A special congratulations to Tchernavia Montgomery, MSW, the Executive Director of Care Ring, who was named this year's recipient of the Michael Marsicano Award. Tchernavia's exceptional leadership and innovative approach to healthcare have not only reenergized Care Ring's mission but have profoundly impacted the health and well-being of countless individuals in our community.
