PMA Nonprofit Leadership congratulates Donté P. Shannon FASAE, CAE on his appointment as the new Executive Director of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). "This is a fantastic opportunity for Donte'," said PMA Founder Patton McDowell, "and I know he will continue to bring his passion for nonprofit leadership - especially in the association world - to the members of IDSA just like he did for our firm."

As the new Executive Director, Donté will guide IDSA's strategic trajectory, oversee its operational imperatives, and elevate its provision of exceptional products and services. His visionary approach, coupled with his profound association know-how, will nurture a culture of innovation and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Donté expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, "For nearly 60 years, IDSA has been the voice of the industrial design profession and consistently met the needs of its members, professional chapters, and stakeholders, in addition to advancing and promoting the industry as a whole. I am excited to work with IDSA's members, staff, and Board to continue the organization's success while expanding its presence, diversifying its offerings, and strengthening its position as the profession's leader."

PMA wishes Donté the best of luck in his new venture and looks forward to continuing collaboration. To learn more about the current PMA team, go here. If your nonprofit organization is looking to elevate its impact in 2023, contact us today to learn how we can help you reach your full potential.
