Team Member Spotlight - Katelynn Greene, Consultant

Meet Katelynn. Her journey into the nonprofit sector was driven by her passion for helping others and her early experiences with philanthropy work. She initially got involved with fundraising through her sorority's philanthropic efforts but found her true calling when she hosted Dance Marathon, where she led successful fundraising campaigns. Her experience in hosting Dance Marathon, especially during the challenges posed by COVID-19, further solidified her interest in nonprofit fundraising.

Katelynn’s dedication to fundraising was fueled by her desire for meaningful work that allowed her to make a tangible difference in people's lives. Her personal connection to the cause of serving justice-involved individuals, stemming from her own family background, inspired her to pursue a career focused on social impact. Through her internship at PMA, she discovered her passion for development work and realized the potential to turn her personal pain into purpose by working for causes she deeply cared about.
