Unite Charlotte Completes First Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy Cohort
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the first Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy program, a special cohort conducted in partnership with the United Way of Greater Charlotte and the Institute for Philanthropic Leadership. Special thanks to Jessica Foster and the United Way of Greater Charlotte for her collaboration throughout this transformative 5-session program.
The final session was particularly enlightening, featuring insights from Stephanie Stenglein, CFRE who shared critical components of an effective annual fundraising plan. We were also fortunate to have Jim Kelley, a leading voice in legacy giving, who shared thirty-three (!) innovative ways to initiate a planned giving program.
Our sessions were further enriched by the contributions of several talented philanthropy professionals, including Jessie Hermann from the Foundation For The Carolinas, Autumn Keck from Scribe LLC, and our own Robin Taylor from PMA Nonprofit Leadership. Their expertise and guidance have been instrumental in providing our cohort with the knowledge and tools necessary to excel in the field of philanthropy.
We eagerly anticipate the positive impacts these participants will bring to their organizations and the communities they serve. Stay tuned for more updates and stories from our Emerging Leaders as they forge ahead in their journey to make a meaningful difference.
